The Cundare Duverney Landcare group formed in 1994, taking in the areas surrounding Cressy, Cundare, Duverney, Foxhow, some of Weering and north-west of Beeac. Several significant RAMSAR listed wetlands are within the Cundare Duverney Landcare Group area, including Lake Corangamite. The area is dominated by fertile basalt plains with areas of stony rises. The predominant landuse within the region is cropping and sheep.
