Walking Track gets the Go
The Garibaldi Environment Group successfully applied for funding from the Golden Plains Shire Community Grant, receiving $5000 to begin making the Garibald Bridges Walking Track STAGE 1. This will begin at South Durham Bridge Road, and link back up to the Hall via Wylies Rd. It will involve some designing and marking on site, and use of contract machinery to make a clear level track base. Tree planting along the route will be extended, with planting this spring.
It will be easy to keep interested people informed by email so that you can be involved. Please contact Jenny Ryle to be put on email alert if not already on. Watch out for news on the Buninyong noticeboards, and the new Garibaldi one to come. A plan will also be pinned up in the Garibaldi Hall
