Walking Track gets repaired after floods

The Garibaldi Environment Group has had the walking track repaired after the floods of early 2011 (but still take care as rabbits are active and they create holes!) It begins at South Durham Bridge Road, and link back up to the Hall via Wylies Rd. Tree planting along the route has been taking place over many years, now creating an attractive place to take a walk. There is also a picnic bench halfway along for a rest. People interested in helping maintain this track with weeding and planting should contact Jenny Ryle to be put on the GEG email list Watch out for news on the Buninyong noticeboards,(outside bakers and the landcare office near the Post Office) and the new Garibaldi notice board on the Mount Mercer road just on the outskirts of Buninyong.
