Leigh Catchment Group
The Leigh Catchment Group is a Landcare Network with 9 Landcare Groups. It covers the Yarrowee R and Leigh R catchments from Ballarat to Inverleigh. It also covers the subcatchments of the Native Hut Creek, Bruce's Creek around Teesdale and Bannockburn. The other subcatchments covered are the Mia Mia Creek and Warrambine Creek around Mt Mercer and Wingeel

Friends of Bannockburn Bush
FOBB aims to support Parks Victoria and DSE in managing local native vegetation and in promoting retention of native vegetation throughout the region. FOBB is a founding member and supporter of Victorian Volcanic Plains Biosphere Inc. which is promoting the formation of a Biosphere across the whole VVP Bioregion under the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere program.
