Leigh Catchment Group
The Leigh Catchment Group is a Landcare Network with 8 Landcare Groups. These are:
Ross Creek Landcare Group,
Upper Williamson's Creek Landcare Group,
Garibaldi Environment Group,
Grenville Landcare Group,
Bamganie/Meredith Landcare Group,
Leigh Districts Landcare Group and
WattleFlat/Pootilla Landcare Group
The group covers the Yarrowee River/ Leigh River catchment from Ballarat to Inverleigh. It also covers the subcatchments of the Native Hut Creekand Bruce's Creek around Teesdale and Bannockburn. The other subcatchments covered are the Mia Mia Creek and Warrambine Creek around Mt Mercer and Wingeel.
