The Landcare Gateway site does not collect or record personal information of general users, other than information you choose to provide though our Contact forms, unless you choose to join the site as a registered user.

Email addresses and any other contact details you provide will not be added to a mailing list without your consent.  Consent is only provided by users through subscription to email updates.

Security of your personal data

This web site enables users to join the site and subscribe to receive email updates of sections of the site, such as news and events, and contribute to Group areas and online forums. To enable this, the Landcare Gateway collects personal information, including name and email address, which can allow other users to contact you directly via forms if you contribute to forums. Please be aware that your choice to join and contribute, and provide personal information  may make your personal information publicly available.

Contact Details for Community Groups

Where personal contact details are listed in the contact fields for a Landcare or related group, these will only be listed by group representatives, or with your permission.  Personal email addresses remain hidden when entered in the appropriate contact fields.

The Landcare Gateway website collects anonymous information through web servers. Information such as the number, date and timing of visits to the website and the pages of the website visited frequently is collected only for statistical purposes to assist us to improve our service.
